Once again, I am happy to combine my passion for antique cars and chandeliers in this new exhibition at the Galerie Lumières.
Amilcar is a French car manufacturer established in 1921 in Paris. The company, famous for its light sport cars in the cycle cars category, produced competition vehicles between 1921 and 1939. It remains mythical in the history of the automobile. Built in 1927, the Amilcar MCO, which we present, won 160 of the 180 races in which it participated. We also present her sister, the Amilcar single-seater MCO15. In 1929 an Amilcar beat the speed record to the world by reaching 220Km hour.
A very special thank you to Claude Martin for lending us these wonderful cars for the exhibition.
Until January 31st 2017, 10am to 7pm Monday to Friday.
